Convent Garden Linz

Convent Garden in Linz clearly demonstrates what LUNAR LIGHT is made for. For rooms steeped in history, for new uses and for situations where furniture must be functional rather than decorative. The former monastery complex on Kapuzinerstraße, now a place of work and encounter, provides a powerful backdrop for this. Historical substance meets contemporary architecture, tranquillity meets everyday life, concentration meets exchange. This is exactly where LUNAR LIGHT unfolds its qualities. The name is no coincidence. Monasteries were places of rhythm, characterised by repetition, by day and night cycles and by a quiet order. The moon played a central role in this as a source of orientation, a pacemaker, a symbol of continuity. LUNAR LIGHT takes up this attitude without quoting it. Its light construction and softly rounded seat shell appear calm and natural, almost archetypal, yet deliberately reduced.

At Convent Garden, LUNAR LIGHT is used where office work takes place today. In meetings, in open work zones, in transitional spaces between retreat and exchange. Its design subordinates itself to the space but is present enough to make a statement. Ergonomically well thought-out, mobile and comfortable, it accompanies long conversations as well as short breaks.

A chair that does not distract but supports. The strength of LUNAR LIGHT is particularly evident in an ensemble with such architectural expressiveness. It does not compete with arches, materials or room heights. It complements them. Its restraint is not a weakness, but a conscious decision. Like Convent Garden itself, LUNAR LIGHT does not appear loud, but precise.

In combination with the Convent Garden, the LUNAR LIGHT becomes what it is meant to be. A piece of furniture that does not define spaces but allows them to unfold. Clear, calm and durable.

Always a good host
