idd cologne
From October 26 to 29, 2025, KFF and ASCO were on hand for the premiere of idd cologne. The launch of this decentralized design event in the heart of Cologne could hardly have gone better. KFF presented its new YES model at the historic Stoff-Pavillon Moeller, sharing a booth with the premium Swabian brand Kettnaker.
The new YES product family came into its own perfectly within the setting of the fabric pavilion. The Mid-Century atmosphere met the modern, urban character of YES, allowing the design to fully unfold its distinctive impact. Visitors experienced an exceptionally comfortable seating experience, supported by a clear, reduced design language that works effortlessly across a wide variety of spatial concepts.
Whether in the iconic pavilion, an urban loft, or a personal sanctuary at home, YES demonstrates its unmistakable presence everywhere. In this way, the model also became a symbol of the new decentralized trade fair format, which aimed to bring design right into the heart of the city.
At the same time, ASCO presented the new Forte table model by Monica Armani. The new ash material, with its distinctive grain, generated great enthusiasm and attracted numerous interested visitors.
The most striking new product from KFF is also unmistakable in its aesthetics: the GAIA DIVANO, a new member of the GAIA family from the pen of designer Monica Armani. This piece of furniture, which defies categorization, is best described as an island of cosiness and comfort, which conveys a completely new lounge and lifestyle feeling with its optional and variably adjustable ottoman.
In contrast, KFF presented the new ICON design by designer Daniel Stegen. A chair with a reduced, almost restrained design language that offers incredible seating comfort thanks to its upholstery and backrest that caresses the back. Sophisticated aesthetics and the typical seating comfort of KFF have resulted in a chair that always cuts a fine figure in a private industrial loft or stylish building. Simply an ICON.
Leo Lübke, President of the Verband der Deutschen Möbelindustrie and managing partner of COR, emphasized: “The idd cologne has demonstrated what defines our industry: creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and the courage to explore new paths. The need for exchange, visibility, and inspiration is great—and this is exactly where idd cologne comes in, as a platform that uniquely connects encounters and design culture, close to the market, close to people, and close to the future of interiors.”
A total of 106 premium brands participated across 16 locations throughout the city of Cologne. More than 70 individual events took place, and around 10,000 people registered for the Interior Design Days Cologne—idd cologne for short.
