After studying industrial design at the FH Darmstadt, Volker Reichert formed his own design studio for furniture design at the highest level. Already in 1990, one year after the foundation, the first upholstered furniture went into series production and celebrated great success. The examination of floor plan concepts, architecture and interior design provided Volker Reichert with a platform to give his creativity free rein beyond individual pieces of furniture. Numerous successful projects and 30 years of experience later, he now deals almost exclusively with the design of seating and upholstered furniture.

Through his versatile understanding of furniture design, he serves a wide variety of markets and target groups, both nationally and internationally. He can now look back on several hundred pieces of furniture and furnishings that have gone into series production at over 50 companies. For KFF, Volker Reichert is responsible for the iconic KIRK chair, whose distinctive design is reminiscent of classrooms of yesteryear.
