KFF at Design Deutschland 2010
The German Design Council showcased present and future of German design: new products from established German companies and designers that have already appeard in the market meet new prototyps of young designers.

Its simplicity is what makes it so unique: UNIQUE by KFF will make its debut at the imm cologne 2010. Conceptualised by Guido Franzke and Detlef Fischer from formmodul design studio, the chair’s launch in the marketplace will continue KFF’s 25-year history with class. UNIQUE focuses on the essential and therefore has what it takes to turn it into a classic. Just like the Sinus armchair that became a milestone for KFF’s remarkable story – it has made inroads into the world 250 000 times over since its introduction.
“Taking a seat on UNIQUE is special experience! We dispensed with everything that was obsolete,” explains formmodul’s Guido Franzke. Its innovativeness is synonymous with KFF. Not only does the brand stand for timeless designs, but for seating comfort of the highest quality. The cast aluminium frame is obtainable polished or with a colour powder coating, the wide sitting and back surfaces are encased with pure leather or high quality materials. In the version that comes with armrests, the slimline sides further emphasize the chair frame simply but skilfully. However, the amazing thing that singles out UNIQUE is not only its unpretentious elegance, but its stackability.
As a trendsetter from Lemgo, KFF attaches great importance to taking cognisance of its consumers’ needs – not to mention that it upholds a strong tradition. For 25 years the popular models from KFF have been aimed at people whose love for design will not make any compromises when it comes to good workmanship, comfort and ingenious functional characteristics.

KFF AT THE FURNITURE FAIR IN MILAN
KFF AT THE ICFF NEW YORK
Lemgo, May 2009. 2.200 exhibiting companies met at the trade fair in Milan „Salone Internazionale del Mobile“ from 13th to 18th April, 2009, on a fair ground of approx. 150.000 m2. Manufacturers from all over the world presented their products to an international public. For the first time KFF, Lemgo, renowned for the production of chairs attended the Milan fair as exhibitor. In Hall 9 Stand C 08 on an area of about 100 m2 KFF presented an overview of the wide range of products and let the international public take part in their manufacturing skill.
„We are very satisfied with the fair and were pleased to welcome many visitors at our stand. The Milan exhibition was an ideal opportunity to position KFF as an international furniture brand and introduce the high-quality products to new customers“, says Jörg Helweg, the Managing Director of KFF. The extraordinary exclusive stand and the convincing models made a go of the Milan fair.

What holds good for musical applies to modern design as well. Following this promise KFF will represent the easy chair FM at the ICFF in New York from 16th to 19th May. This piece of furniture created by formmodul is among other well-known manufacturers part of the fair „design deutschland – case study 09“ of the Board of Design at the Jacob K. Javist Convention Center.
Already at the imm 2009 in Cologne the easy chair FM highlighted for an exhibition of the Board of Design. It is the outstanding cubical design in combination with extraordinary fabrics for upholstery, like the stripe pattern fabric by Paul Smith, that makes FM to a very distinctive representative of its design generation. Besides the easy chair and chair models an ottoman is also available.
design deutschland belongs to a series of exhibitions arranged by the Board of Design, which is representing outstanding products and concepts with a particular emphasis to presence and history of the German design. It will be the first time that design deutschland is exhibiting at the ICFF.
