Hauke Murken (born 1963) and Sven Hansen (born 1969),

two designer from Berlin, work together since 1999 under the name Murken and Hansen.

Their studies at Nick Roericht and Helmut Staubach, who worked very successfully in the furniture sector (among others Wilkhahn) greatly influenced their development.

Individual models as well as complete assortments were created in the office of Murken and Hansen.

Murken and Hansen were awarded with several prizes:

Design Plus, Bosch Work Art, Design Preis Schweiz, IF Hannover, Designerzentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, Deutscher Designer Club, Good Design Award Japan

The folding table “Last Minute” created for Nils Holger Moormann is on loan to several museums, et al.: Neue Sammlung München, Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin, Cooper Hewitt Museum New York.
