As a company under private law, we are subject to the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) as well as the German Telemedia act (TMG). We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that all applicable privacy protection regulations are met by us as well as any third-party service providers.

Personal data

Personal data is information that may be used to determine the identity of a person. This information includes your proper name, street address, postal address, and phone number. Information that is not directly connected to your true identity (for instance, preferred Web sites or the number of users visiting a particular site) is not considered personal data.

It is generally possible for you to use our online service without revealing your identity. You can use our contact form to enter your personal data. You are free to decide if you want to provide us with this information.

Your information will be stored on specially protected servers in Germany. Access to your information is restricted to specially authorized personnel who have been entrusted with providing technical and editorial support for the servers.

The data stored on our servers is related to your access and saved for back-up purposes to allow us to determine your identity if need be (for example, IP address, date, time, and pages viewed). We do not process your personal data in any way. We reserve the right to statistically assess records that have been made anonymous.

We store IP addresses for a maximum period of 28 days. IP addresses are stored to ensure data integrity as well as the stability and operational reliability of our system.

We do not pass on your data to third parties without your explicit approval. If, in the course of processing orders, information is shared with other service providers, this information is subject to the provisions of the BDSG, other statutory provisions and the privacy policy of onix specified in the contract. Insofar as we are required to do so by law or judicial decree, we will submit your data to the authorities that are entitled to receive your information.
